Glad you got them! In the market, finally, for a 130-140mm APO. Was at a friends in Prescott Valley last mo...

Definitely! and keeping the ball rolling! It’s nice to have a place where we can share common interests yet discuss differing views without any disrespect. I think SS is a fairly unique environment in that respect. I have learned a lot from you guys and been exposed to perspectives I might not have ...

Gilmore's 8 measure solo at the 2 minute mark (original Pink Floyd studio recording) is, IMO, the best recorded melodic solo that I have ever heard.
One of my all time favorite songs. I like both solos in the song but I’ve always thought the one at the end of the song as one of the best ever.

Thanks for the Mitsky-pedia entry, Dave! Kemble 1 caught my attention, never heard of it but quick research suggests a lovely, unique string of stars. Will have to hit that one once the full moon (and snow storm) passes.
Yeah take a look at it. The Cascade is beautiful!

Jason, here's one I came across this morning, that I thought you might like. Breath of Nibiru, formed by drummer Nick Pierce, and guitarist Gianluca Ferro. Progressive / Djent I guess you could call it. Not sure if you've heard of them, but thought they were good. Here's a YouTube link to Prisms. En...

I wish I'd have kept my Pentax as well. As an update I also grabbed the Vortex 8x42 Talons. 8.1* TFOV. I do not see much difference in performance compared to the Vipers, but the increased AFOV & TFOV are very nice. I tend to use them more than the Vipers for that reason.
