Hi, and welcome to the Starstuff Forum! Star stuff is what we're made out of, and primarily what we'll discuss! But there's plenty of room for other topics as well.
This forum will be a friendly site that respects and allows differing opinions. We won't have a list of "banned" topics that we're afraid to talk about (except for the obvious, of course, such as pornography, etc.). Being a respectful and friendly site, we can discuss these things without resorting to name-calling or other childish games.
Swearing, racism, sexism, disrespect, etc., will not be tolerated.
Being that we're different from many other message boards, we don't view them as competition, and we invite anyone with an interest in our topics to join us. Currently, this forum is ad supported (though the ads are reasonably small, and there are no pop-ups, gathering of personal info, etc.), but once we gain a significant membership, we'll consider going ad-free. We'll never ask for money from members, and since we're not owned by any company, we're not trying to sell anything.
Starting a forum from scratch takes a lot of time and hard work, and we realize that it will be a slow build. What you can do to help us is visit the site and post often! As moderators on another popular forums, we do have some experience doing this sort of thing, and we know what works and what doesn't work.
